Boston Red Sox Fans

Boston Red Sox fans are very WILD! Living in Massachusetts for the last two years, I have seen Red Sox fans going through a lot! The first year was the 2003 ALCS (American League Championship Series) against the New York Yankees when Boones hitted a HUGE homerun off Tim Wakefield and won the series 4-3 against the Red Sox.

The 2004 season, the Red Sox and the fans still believed they can win! They played the Yankees again in the 2004 ALCS and the Yankees were up 3-0 lead in the series. Somehow, the Red Sox were able to win the series 4-3. The fans throughout the New England were really WILD with screaming, partying, crying, etc... They won the World Series Championship. I believe the Red Sox fans are the best in baseball!!

This year, it has been a wild season! I went to two games in April and the fans were wild and noisy. All through the season, it was sold out and impossible to get tickets at Fenway Park. We saw the Red Sox battling for first place with Baltimore Orioles and the Yankees were lousy! Boston were able to lead the American East Division all through the baseball season. Seven weeks left of the season, the Yankees played so hard, just like they were in the playoff mode. They came and tied with Boston for first place. Last weekend, I went to Boston and saw some old friends who were so obsessed with frustrated with the Red Sox. The Yankees won the division title on Saturday, the fans in Boston were very disappointed. I don't blame them because I have always hated the Yankees! On Sunday, they won the Wild Card race and able to eliminate Yankees home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Tuesday, the Red Sox plays Chicago White Sox and it will be a hot series (3 out of 5). The Yankees plays against Los Angeles Angels. We will see how they do throughout the playoffs starting tomorrow afternoon.
